One of our goals at Calvary is to lead Christ-followers into maturity, thereby equipping them for ministry not only in the church, but to evangelism in the world. One way we do this is through systematic teaching of the Scriptures.
Sunday School provides a small group and age-appropriate setting where everyone can not only learn the Scriptures but also learn practical ways to live them out in every area of life. Because Sunday School models and encourages the study of God’s Word, it helps our faith to stay strong when life becomes difficult. Consider the following passage:
“All Scripture is inspired by God and is profitable for teaching, for rebuking, for correcting, for training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.” 2 Timothy 3:16-17 (CSB)
